I mean I guess maybe women should say “sorry” less, but I think mainly men should say “sorry” more.
"When products from New Zealand are associated with Māori symbols, they tend to gain a higher value overseas from seeming more “authentic” and “in touch with nature”. In fact, Māori culture is considered to be more “in” overseas than in New Zealand. This prompted Aroha Mead to point out the irony of this, stating that “[i]t’s cool to be Māori overseas, but for us here, it’s a daily struggle.”"
it’s so weird that men can make endless misogynistic comments and not have to reassure people that they don’t hate women but when women, especially those in the spotlight, talk about things concerning women they feel an overwhelming need to constantly reassure the world that they don’t hate men, that they love men.
and by weird i mean a cultural norm to demean women and overvalue men.
if u were dating a FBI agent and you dumped him.
he would be ur fed ex
I hope the NSA people scanning my blog got a chuckle out of that
Did you know Frida Kahlo actually went the extra mile and used makeup to make her natural mustache even darker. She gave no fucks about racist beauty standards and was trying to make you uncomfortable so fuck everyone who’s ever said she would have been prettier if she just did something about her facial hair.
when i say i hate school it doesn’t mean i hate education and knowledge. it means that i hate selfish and ignorant people there. it means that i hate stress and high expectations. it means that i hate being treated like a shit. it fucking means that i hate feeling like a failure all the time.
